Photo of Church Our Savior Lutheran Church and School has served the Washington D.C. and Northern Virginia areas for over 50 years. We are a congregation of over 600 members and are affiliated with the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. We offer many opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and serve the community both near and far.

We are especially proud of our expanded Day School, which offers a Christian education for children in kindergarten through eighth grade. Our education program is accredited, and we offer one of the best values in private education in the Washington D.C. area. Some scholarship and tuition assistance funds are available.

Greetings from the Pastor:

LUTHERAN HOUR MINISTRY PARTNERSHIP

A congregational partnership is a long-term commitment made by our congregation to work closely with Lutheran Hour Ministries to plan, implement and sustain a practical strategic OUTREACH PLAN. This plan takes into consideration both the community needs and the resources available to the congregation. On July 22nd, our LHM facilitator will be here for a site visit to discuss the results of our survey and help us define our OUTREACH GOALS.
Heading into the fall, we will seek to implement these with ongoing support from LHM. In the midst of this partnership we also receive the benefits of a close connection with LHM, free and reduced price services and materials from LHM and some united advertising possibilities. Please be ready to be part of this congregation-wide effort to find out HOW we are to be God’s missionary to our community!
