First Grade 
Your students have grown to be great readers this year. Use this list to guide and encourage your child in a program of reading over the summer. Many of the books listed also make great read alouds.

Summer Reading Challenge!
1. Read any book on the list that you have not read before.
2. Write one paragraph about your favorite part of the story. Please use complete sentences and neat handwriting.
3. Send it to Mrs. Hambridge at her home address.
4. Receive a special reward in the mail from Mrs. Hambridge.
5. Feel proud, accomplished and smarter!
6. Repeat a second time if desired!
